Words from the company:
Welcome to the ER! As the new intern at Chicago’s County General Hospital, your responsibilities start out easy enough as you treat a manageable number of patients sporting minor cuts and bruises. However, your skills are quickly put to the test as the stakes escalate into full-fledged ER emergencies.

In addition to taking on medical challenges, you will have to deal with hospital politics, face gut-wrenching ethical dilemmas and establish personal relationships - even romances! It takes more than medical training to climb the ranks at County General!

The Review:
I found this game very addicting. It has the feel and look of The Sims, yet it has created its own style of game play. It starts with you having to create your character name, gender, face style, hair, skin, and eye color. Then you must choose your characters personality, which will then decide your characters Medical Aptitude, this includes Neurosurgery, Toxicology, Pediatrics, Orthopedics, Cardiology, and Gen. Surgery.

Throughout the game you must keep an eye on your Stats bars as you work on through the long shifts, you will have to keep up on Hygiene, Energy and Composure. You can also interact with people who can help you make friends or enemies, or create little alliances with people for free things to help you throughout the game. You are also given, throughout the game, many objectives which can include helping in a surgery or watching a surgery to learn more, or admitting a certain number of people in a time limit and raising your stats, but these are just a couple. As you work on these objectives it will raise your Knowledge Stats, which allow you to perform the proper procedures. If you do not have high enough stats or “knowledge” your patient can get mad at you and even start dying, depending on how serious the case is. But if you have made friends, you can call in someone higher than you to take over on the patient.

One thing I did not like about the game is they did not include a run option; there were times when you need to be somewhere in a hurry and you have to walk the whole way. Other than that there are no problems with this game and I would recommend it to any fan of The Sims games and fans of the ER T.V. series.
