  Adobe Creative Suite
Words from the company:
The Adobe® Creative Suite is a complete design environment that combines new, full-version upgrades of Adobe's leading professional tools — Adobe Photoshop®, Adobe Illustrator®, Adobe InDesign®, Adobe GoLive®, and Adobe Acrobat® Professional software — with innovative Version Cue™ file-management features to let you create and publish content for print and the Web faster, more easily, and more affordably than ever.

To better reflect the high level of integration among Adobe's creative professional applications, "CS" is the new version denominator for Adobe's professional design and layout tools. For example, Photoshop CS is the new, full-upgrade version of Photoshop (instead of Photoshop 8.0). Similarly, Adobe lllustrator® CS replaces Illustrator 11, InDesign® CS replaces InDesign 3.0, and GoLive® CS replaces GoLive 7.0. Adobe Acrobat® 6.0 Professional is the only creative professional application that keeps a version number denominator. Going forward, all of the CS products will always be upgraded on the same schedule.

The review:
I have been using Adobe products since way back when and I would not change to another product for my graphics needs. Their flagship program, Photoshop is what I call the Cats Meow because I have yet to find something better. Photoshop is the main program that I use for a variety of things and that is where my main expertise is.

This new CS package is just that a complete package for people that are designing for the web or internet. If you need a photo editing tool then this one is the top of the line and the learning curve is quite high. It is definitely not for a beginner unless this is the field you wish to get into then by all means there is nothing else that I would recommend.

The other programs in this package are quite awesome as well. The renown Illustrator that has been around as long as Photoshop has is a great vector drawing program, the perfect tool to use to create illustrations at a high quality caliber.

One thing that I did notice as being new and helpful in the CS version is a new section of How To in the help files. The help breaks down all the categories and will assist you in everything from creating a website to how to edit pictures. This is a great tool and even I am going to use it from time to time.

The object of this review is not to go through each item step by step, giving a tutorial on how the various programs work. I am mainly relating my expertise in this package as the one to get if you produce or expect to produce high caliber graphics and design. The learning curve is very high but the results pay off big time. This is another great step forward by Adobe.
