The Review:
These powerline products have got to be one of the easiest and most innovative networking devices to setup and get you connected to other computers and/or your high speed internet connection over regular electrical wiring. This is the perfect solution for a small to medium office or home network. To facilitate different solutions other powerline products are available including the Corinex Powerline Ethernet Adapter, the Corinex Powerline USB Adapter, and the Corinex Powerline Router.

There are so many different applications that you can use these devices with, some may include; plugging in an Xbox or other Game system into your network, install a network security camera, or use your laptop computer in any room without the need for a wireless connection. The powerline products will work with any Operating System including Windows 9x/ME/NT/2000/XP/2003, Mac OS X and Linux. One thing to keep in mind, is that you will need at least two adapters to begin with.

How I tested the Corinex Powerline Ethernet Wall Mount:
I wanted to connect my shop PC to my existing network in the house without having to run an ethernet cable out to the shop. In the house: 1) Plug the Corinex Powerline Ethernet Wall Mount into an AC outlet. 2) Plug the Ethernet cable into the Corinex Powerline Ethernet Wall Mount and into a slot in a hub or switch (existing network with DHCP Server and other PCs). In the shop: 1) Plug the Corinex Powerline Ethernet Wall Mount into an AC outlet. 2) Plug the Ethernet cable into the Corinex Powerline Ethernet Wall Mount and the ethernet slot in the PC. 3) Turn on the shop PC and it received an IP dynamically from the existing network. I was then able to access the internet and shares through the existing electrical wiring.
