While the battle was raging far away, the aggressive aliens took over Earth. Now is the time to come to the aid of your home planet! The review:
Is this game just another sci-fi first person shoot-em-up? Definitely not. This high quality graphics adventure has you playing in an incredibly high intensity graphic mode. You have to have your wits about you and not just blindly run forward and try to kill everyone. You start out with some needed training on how to use weapons and how to use vehicles. I tried doing the testing at the “mamas boy” level and even that was difficult.

Walking around, you use the standard WASD keys and the mouse for pointing and the clicker to shoot. Seems simple enough but you only have so much ammunition so you can simply walk around with the finger on the trigger constantly on. You get a variety of missions that you must carry out and you get fairly clear directions but of course you must go around obstacles to get to your destination.

The programming is very well done in the game and the graphics are just superb. With the lighting and shadows, the movements and generally the whole environment is marvelous to look at and the action is smooth.

What was a bit of a bummer is the length of time it took to install or to verify the CD for authenticity as well the time it takes to get from one load to the next. I have a really skookem system far superior than what is needed and still it takes time to load the multi megabytes of data. I guess that is how Brat Designs got such great graphics. Unavoidable I guess. I will continue the game now that I am hooked so get this one, and you wont regret it, I promises you.
