  SideWinder Force Feedback 2 Joystick

I received the new Microsoft SideWinder Force Feedback 2 joystick. I also have the first version. This one offers a USB connection but has less buttons than the previous. It has a better throttle control and its power supply is built in instead of being a "lump" on the wall.
The force feedback "feeling" is about the same – maybe a little tighter. It comes with a newer version of its Game Controller Software that will keep your previous custom settings as well as adding new ones. If you have the older version – don’t upgrade but if you don’t have one yet – get the new one for USB compatibility. It was listing at $159.00 Canadian.

8 programmable buttons plus a programmable 8 direction hat-switch give you up to 16 programmed functions. Record movements, combos and delay times or adjust the dead zone and sensitivity for unparalleled game performance.
