Pinball Hall Of Fame – The Gottlieb Collection

Words from the company:
Relive the days when the pinball table was king, but play like you have unlimited quarters. Pinball Hall of Fame resurrects seven of Gottlieb's greatest pinball machines spanning the 60 years of arcade pinball's golden age. Recreated in a stunning 3-D environment, the game play, visuals and sound effects are so authentic; you'll feel like you're in a real arcade. You can choose from such classic tables as Ace High, Central Park, Big Shot, Genie, Black Hole, Victory, and Tee'd Off.

Pinball Hall of Fame Features:
- Play on seven classic Gottlieb pinball tables from the '50s, '60s, '70s, '80s and '90s.
- Historical art, fun facts and an unlockable bonus table.
- Multiplayer action for up to four players.
- Bonus arcade novelty games for even more old-school fun.
- Two player "game sharing" via wireless connection with one disc.
- PSP™ (PlayStation®Portable) system only.

The Review:
Upon inserting this pinball game my PSP had to be updated for some reason so that this game would play. So I did what I was told like a good little soldier and I finally got to play pinball. Now the way this game works on the PSP is that because the screen is sideways (not like a pinball table being up and down) the screen scrolls constantly up and down. This is something that took me a while to get used to but I eventually did. It also made my reflexes work faster because I could not know exactly where my flippers were until the ball was almost on top of it so it does have a bit of a learning curve to play it to win. You have access to only about four tables until you win top spot and then you get credits that you can then use on the other machines.

The graphics of course are very clear and precise and it is a lot more fun than games on the Gameboy Advance. I have had hours of fun with this game and if you are a pinball fan then you will certainly love this one for the PSP.
